Ronald McDonald Road Safety Message

The Room Fifteen Dream Team had a visit from Ronald McDonald. He came to school to help teach us all about road safety and he was very funny. Mrs Styles liked the message that you have to be careful with sneaky driveways because it's easy to forget to look out for them. We learnt lots of good advice to help make us safer on and around the roads. As a celebration of this visit we wrote some recount stories. Here are just a few for you to share. We hope you like them.

Last Friday it was fun Friday and room fifteen went to a show called Ronald McDonald. It was lots of fun on fun Friday. I loved it. By Joe

On Friday we went to the Ronald McDonald Show. It was a long wait. It was a short show. He was so funny. He said "can you help me moving lady?" It was a crack up. By Jack

Ronald McDonald came to school and he put on a road safety show. We waited patiently while other classes came. I heard other children laughing at him. Then he said to Mrs Styles "moving lady come up here." Then he said "have you seen a red and white stripy sock?" She went around and got the sock. Then he gave her the sock as a present. By Greer B.

  8. What a shame you had to wait for an hour for Ronald McDonald! The message he delivered on his arrival was very important and we're sure that it had been well worth the wait. We laughed heaps and learnt a valuable messge.
