Fernland Spa

I slowly dipped my toes into the luxurious warm Fern land Spa. I walked to the blue stairs and as I walked into the pool it got deeper and deeper.It got to my hips when my whole body went numb and tingled inside.It was a warm and misty day on the Saturday of Zara’s birthday.

I swam, dipped and dived and played vollyball.All of the girls splattered water at each other.The steam was rising from the hot spot of the bubbly pool.I slowly hopped out of the pool and leant over the brown fence.Watr trickled down the slimy rocks and in blobs it splashed my face.

After I hopped out of the roasting pool we had a scrumptious picnic with, cookies, popcorn,chips and so many more mouth watering foods.We played hide and seek tag on the muddy squidgy grass and everyone kept slipping over.I cleaned myself off with the fresh cold water and hopped back into the warm Fern land Spa.

The Movies

Fishing Time!


One cold Monday afternoon my dad put out the line on the Papamoa beach to catch
some nice fish for dinner. Me and mum were dropping my sister Jemima off at dancing. Dad kept on trying to call mum to tell her to hurry up and get to the beach so he could pull the line in. He really wanted us to be a part of it and all the big fish on the line. Finally we got to the beach.

As soon as we got to the lovely Papamoa beach I jumped out of the car and sprinted down to the soft sand and icy warter. I soon found dad, and by him there was a bucket full of little fish. There were over thirty fish and I could not belive it! I asked dad what type the fish were he said they were piper and they are good bait. Dad said they are very expensive and we propaply had about two hundred dollars worth of bait.

Me and my sister had a race to see who could full a bag all the way to the top first. I had nearly filled my bag all the way to the top when my bag ripped open and all my fish fell out! Soon mum came with another bag. Phew. We had a fun day!!!

One Sunny Saturday morning, me, my friend Lily and Miila all went to the awesome stuffy movies to see ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Rodrick rules!’As soon as we arrived Juliet dropped us of and we all raced inside to buy our tickets and something to eat. We all asked politely for some sour skittles and buttery, puffy popcorn.

After we all quietly walked into the spooky, dark theatre and got comfortable. Suddenly the boring advertisment started.”Ah” Lily quietly screamed when she jumped.‘shh’ Miila said angrily. The movie finally started. “Oh no” Lily whispered “Whats up?’ I said in confusion “we forgot the drink”. So Lily quickly raced to get a giant drink of coke. The movie went on for an hour and a half. Finally it had finished, “what a hilarious, funny, crack-up movie” we said.

Juliet was waiting outside to pick us all up. As soon as we hopped in we all started talking about the movie non-stop. “The best movie ever!” I screamed!!!

Ripsticking to Tay Street Dairy

‘‘Time to go’‘called Soph,’‘I’ll get the ripsticks’’.I jumped on the ripstick followed by Sophie.We zoomed and raced until we reached Tay Street hill.

It was sunny sunday afternoon and Sphie was about to zoom down Tay Street hill,’’Im coming Ibelieved her and sprinted out of the way.’‘Just tricking.I couldn’t believe she tricked me.

Finally we reached our destination.We had two dollars each and Igot a yummy Nerdilicious and a Chupa Chup,Sophie got asour lollie spray.We sat down on the grey concrete steps and gobbled up our sweets.

‘‘Woo hoo’’,we screeched the whole way back.Once again we raced and zoomed all the way back home .We gulped down a fresh,cold glass of water.

We had lots of fun and I would love to do it all over again.
