Mitchell's Speech

Here is the winning year six class speech by Mitchell. It is really amazing and earned Mitchell 2nd overall in our school cluster. Happy Reading. MY MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT Stomp,stomp,stomp ahh the water slide looks cold lets test it. Whoa who are you? You guys must be my audience! Hi I’m Mitchell and I’m here to tell you about my most embarrassing moment witch includes pants and water slides. Back to the story. We were at camp at the water slide and everyone was to chicken to go down on there tummy.Then there was me with no fear [ except of clowns obviously].I leap on my tummy and down I go.I was going full speed when something terrible happened! So terrible i don't want to tell you...BUT I MUST!I hit the water with such force my pants [sniffle] fall down [pretend to cry]!But I’m over it now.Meanwhile I was in the pool completely naked!I was very thankful for this though...the water wasn’t clear.I know stink but not for me!I was still trembling about one thing.There were 3 boys and all the rest were girls.Shame!My little ticker was going nuts!I still hadn’t found my pants and everyone was screaming at me to get out.I had to do something!Thats when a light bulb hovered above my head.It wasn’t a very pleasant idea but I had to do something.I tricked everyone into believing there was a big fish in the water that i was trying to grab.Suddenly they stopped screaming and started cheering.So I dived under.Then I felt something brush against my tummy and for once i thought that one of my excuses was real so I grab it and realise its my pants!A relief feeling spread through me but now I had the struggle of trying to get my pants on!So I did what I had to.I told everyone that I was wrestling with the big fish when I was trying to get my pants on!I was splashing and thrashing hoping know one knew my secret.It was like trying to tame a sugar rushed bull!OH MY GOSH impossible but finally I slip them on.I told everyone the big fish swam down the drain.I leap out the pool and start running up the stairs nearly slip but don’t. Then I see my friend going down on his tummy!I whisper to myself here we go again!So thats how this began and now this tale is a legend...not really I like to think it is though.Time to go.Call me a hero if you will!
