We are using adjectives to describe our nouns. Here are a selection of this weeks quality writing.

Car Track
Happily on Monday morning I got up and went downstairs with my black car track. I set up a cool car track. Then when my funny dad got up he said ”what a cool car track you’re making.” I said “thank you.” After I made it I asked my dad if he could play he said “yes but after I’ve made our yummy breakfast I’ll play.” I said “ok.” We zoomed my little red and blue cars around the big black track. What a fun way to start the nice warm morning.

Hot pools

On Saturday I went to the hot pools. I went in the warm watery slide. When I went down it I had a big splash and ity was really fun. I like going in the slide pool. I went two times down the slide. I did like it. After that I went in the hottest pool. I kept swimming with my sparkly goggles. I like my sparkly googles. They have hearts and stars on them too. I really like them. I tried to go in the big, blue pool that was over my head. I really like swimming, it is fun. I kept giving mum a fright. I went with my mum, sister and dad. After that i got dressed into my pretty dress and my sparkly purple tights.

Lake Rotohiti
Happily I went to Lake Rotohiti. My mum was with me and my dad and my friend Jake, Jaz, Toby, Sally and mu Aunty. It was on Saturday. I got some Bakagon and a car track and a little hot rod car. My dad caught two big fat trout. It was time for dinner. We had oily trout and squashy potatoes. Then it was time for dessert. We had yummy cake.

Library
Yesterday I saw Jai and Tobey at the warm library. I went on the computer, next I read a book called Moon Girl. There was a DVD card in it. On the way home I said to mum can we watch a movie. Mum said yes. When we got home I put a shiny disk in the station. When mum said it’s time for me to go to bed I did.

Painting
Suddenly Mrs Styles called out my name it was my turn to paint my amazing Rob McGregor art. I walked to the rainbow basket to get an art shirt on. I got my Mount picture and started painting. I used marshmallow pink, cherry pink, sky blue, rose red, grass green, night blue, sun yellow and clown fish orange. I used thick paint like Rob McGregor. I put lots and lots of colours on it. I put a touch of sky blue in a tiny space it was just right. For the Mount I put clown fish orange and for the flowers I used marshmallow pink and cherry pink. For the sand I put sun yellow and for the sea I did night blue and for the sky I did sky blue and that was all. Finally I was done. I was in a mess. I took off my art shirt and put it in the rainbow box. I asked Mrs Styles if I could go to the toilets. She said yes. So I ran to the toilets and washed my hands. What a lovely start for painting.

Morning
Today as I hopped out of my sparkly bed I went to my mum’s warm room and said mum it’s time for breakfast and mum said it’s only six o’clock in the morning! But mum said if you want your breakfast now you can. So off I went into the warm kitchen and I got out a small bowl from the cupboard. I poured the rice bubbles into my bowl. They went pop! pop! pop.
